Drake closes in on UK chart record

Rapper Drake has is only two weeks away from breaking the UK all time record for longest uninterrupted number one single after he retained the position for a 15th consecutive week.
Drake’s smash single One Dance is currently closing down on Bryan Adams’s single Everything I Do (I Do It For You), which reigned supreme for an incredible 16 weeks in 1991.
The last single to come close to the record was Wet Wet Wet’s Love Is All Around, released in 1994.

Drake’s smash worldwide hit One Dance, which also rules the top spot in the United States, clocked up 4.33 million streams in the UK this week, equivalent to 43,300 sales.
