Jamaican songstress and TV host Denyque recently made it to the finals and will be vying for the crown of Miss Universe Jamaica 2016.
The ‘Super Girl’ made the announcement over the weekend in a lengthly post via Instagram.
“…..just wanted to let my heroes know that today I became a finalist in the Miss Universe Jamaica 2016 competition and I cannot wait to get fully engaged in this journey with you.” She said.
Since breaking the news many fans have posted congratulatory messages on her social media pages. On Tuesday the ‘What About Love’ singer took to Instagram once again this time to thank her ‘Heroes.’
“I started responding to everyone then decided a post would be better! 😄 – THANK YOU sooo much for all the well-wishes (and the not-so-well-wishes) my loves. Love unu bad bad bad and can’t even begin to describe how much you all mean to me. Still nervous like whoa, but in the words of my Jade – just take the first step even if your legs are shaking, put your best foot forward and follow-through.
I might be Supergirl but.. trust me.. You are my heroes. Love & Light. 💕,” She posted.
