Chronixx has dropped his first single for 2020 titled “Dela Move.”

Reggae superstar Chronixx has dropped his first single for the calendar year and it was definitely worth the wait.

The track, which is a Reggae/Trap fusion, showcases the entertainer’s lyrical prowess and versatility.

In the track, Chronixx effortlessly switches between a smooth Reggae sound to a more upbeat Trap flow. The end result is a surprising blend of perfection, which resonates well with the viewer.

“Mi put mi city pon di map yeah dela splash yeah dela move blaze fire hot / barrel fulla crab whoi barrel fulla a crab / think dem coulda stop whole a dem shell ya ago crack unuh crawl out the barrel and reach fi di top / whole a dem show ya sell out and mi land inna foreign mi show neva flop/ shell down the whole world already shell it down again and then call it mi back / who cudda sick fi call mi wack,” he spits.

The music video for the track sees Chronixx and several other Rastafarians standing shirtless around a campfire. Soon viewers are presented a young boy, who is meant to be a young version of Chronixx.

In the visuals, the boy is seen to be overtaken by a burning fire within him than follows him wherever he goes. The fire serves a symbolic purpose, highlighting Chronixx’s passion for music burning within.

The track is currently No.8 on the Youtube trending list, with over 334,000 views and 20,000 likes.
