Bunny Wailer is now recuperating from a second stroke, as the search intensifies for his wife, Jean Watt.

The Reggae icon who is currently at a special rehabilitation facility, is growing frustrated that he is unable to help with the search for his spouse of more than 50 years.

71-year-old Watt has been missing since May 23 this year, however the family is intent on keeping hope alive for her safe return.

“It is not until you are looking for someone that you realise that there are so many persons who look like her,” Jah B’s manager, Maxine Stowe, told the STAR. “Up to this week, we have been getting calls, but invariably it is someone who resembles Sis Jean. There have been sightings in Linstead and Harker’s Hall (both in St Catherine), but what we realise is that sometimes it’s the same person who is moving around and being seen by different persons.”

Jean Watt’s family has been posting videos on social media making an appeal to the public, five months after she went missing. The clips feature them appealing for her to come home, as Watt suffers from a condition which causes memory loss.

“The search goes in cycles. There are different types of speculations but we remain hopeful. There has been no new information from police or private investigators. It remains an open case,” Stowe said.

The family continues to offer a reward of J$1 million for her recovery or any valid information leading to her safe return. Persons with information are being asked to send a WhatsApp message to 876-850-4403.
