Buju Banton Reacts His “Upside Down 2020” Being Nominated For A Grammy Award

Buju Banton is thankful after his latest album, “Upside Down 2020” was nominated for a Grammy Award.

Buju Banton was nominated in the Best Reggae Album category.

Best reggae album nominees are: “Upside Down 2020,” Buju Banton; “Higher Place,” Skip Marley; “It All Comes Back to Love,” Maxi Priest; “Got to Be Tough,” Toots and the Maytals; “One World,” The Wailers.

Speaking with fans on social media directly after the news was announced, Banton wrote “Let the music speak, I want to be a silent listener. Thanks to all 🙏🏿 A telling album in telling times. #UPSIDEDOWN2020 @recordingacademy.”

Buju Banton released “Upside Down 2020,” his first full-length studio album in a decade on June 26, 2020 through Gargamel Music and Roc Nation. The album is Buju’s first release after his prison release.
