Bounty Killer has been steady making headlines this week following a series of outburst on social media and now the deejay has made another bold claim.
According to the “This Is How We Do It” deejay, Busy Signal is a greater artiste than Vybz Kartel or Mavado, in fact, he branded the “Bumaye” deejay the greatest talent to emerge from his disbanded Alliance camp.
The deejay made the bold claim during a lengthy Instagram rant last weekend where he responded to a fan’s question who was the best out of Mavado and Vybz Kartel.

“No bias or disrespect but skillfully and successfully it’s Busy Signal,” Bounty Killer said. “He sold platinum with Major Lazer, toured the most even when he couldn’t go to America, he had more album sales he mastered recording and live performance. Vybz Kartel is the baddest but Busy is the best he can fit on any platform now Jamaica House, Soca you name it, he is Alliance most rounded and polished artiste.”
While some fans may disagree with the deejay’s opinion its hard to argue with him as he was, in fact, the man that introduced them all to the Dancehall community and therefore possesses a justified standpoint.
Vybz Kartel undoubtedly remains the most dominant artiste of the last decade locally, while Mavado has solidified his place in the culture but Busy Signal has found success in several markets where both have largely failed.
