Bounty Killer Disses Mavado While Praising Vybz Kartel

Bounty Killer has blasted his former protege Mavado while praising Vybz Kartel in a recent Instagram rant.

The whole incident unfolded over the weekend after the veteran Dancehall artiste posted a throwback event flyer to Instagram with Vybz Kartel highlighting their long history together in the music business.

“2004 when @vybzkartel was just one year through the door dem not even did catch the correct spelling of #Kartel that time yet the journey never ends HISTORY LESSON OF THE DAY,” Killer wrote.

One fan, however, quickly commented questioning why the deejay openly supports Vybz Kartel and not Mavado.

“The last time I commented you asked what Mavado does for alliance but as a gulliance I’ve noticed you hardly/never post nothing about Vado its always abt Kartel
Busy, Bling Dawg, etc. its clear to see you and Vado not 100, why do you never post old video clips of you and Vado destroying stage shows,” Yohance Gully asked.

“Vado defended you to the end when Kartel was going at you, where was Busy and the rest???? No alliance member defended you like Vado did #History,” the fan added.

The comment seemed to spark the wrath of the veteran deejay who told the fan not to ask him anything about Mavado, who he claims is “selfish” and forgetful of where he is coming from.

Bounty Killer Reignites Beef With Alkaline

According to Bounty, he sees no need to highlight Mavado as the deejay shows no support for any other Dancehall acts besides Alkaline on his page, while Vybz Kartel’s regularly acknowledges past Alliance members.

The “Cross, Angry, Miserable” deejay went on to blast the fan’s assertion that Mavado defended him against Vybz Kartel during their lyrical feud claiming the Gully Side deejay couldn’t even defend himself much less defend him.

The exchange seems to point to bad blood still existing between the veteran entertainer and Mavado despite their apparent reconciliation a few years ago.

For years there were rumours that two were not on speaking terms but the allegations were brushed aside after the “Progress” deejay was spotted in a picture with the veteran artiste.
