Bob Marley’s Grandson Skip featured on Katy Perry new single “Chained To The Rhythm”

American Pop superstar Katy Perry teams up with Jamaican recording artiste Skip Marley for her new single titled “Chained To The Rhythm.”

The 20-year-old singer, is the Grandson of the legendary King of Reggae Bob Marley and the son of fashion designer Cedella Marley. In 2015, Skip released his first single, Cry To Me, and a second single called Life under the Tuff Gong label. He later signed with Blue Mountain Music, and joined his uncles Damian and Stephen Marley on their “Catch a Fire tour.” Skip Marley signed to Island Records earlier this year, Island’s President and CEO, David Massey, called Marley’s talent “extraordinary”, adding that “his music reflects what the world needs right now.” Marley released his debut single under Island Records, “Lions” this month.

Stream “Chained To The Rhythm” below, the Reggae disco track was produced by Cailin Lowry and Nicholas Ruff while the official lyric video directed by Aya Tanimura was released on Thursday.
