Vybz Kartel Calls Shorty His Lifeline, Only Woman That Can Make Him Cry

Vybz Kartel dedicates new single “Euphoria” to his common-law wife Tanesha ‘Shorty’ Johnson.

The romantic single produced by High Stake Records, was released on Sunday, May 21. In the track kartel professes his love for Shorty whom he refers to as his lifeline.

Vybz Kartel who recently indicated that the two had a few relationship problems says Johnson is the only woman that can make him cry.

Earlier this year, the self-proclaimed “Worl Boss” raised a few eyebrows when he released ‘Remember Me.’ In the ZJ Chrome’s Cr203 Records-produced track, Kartel sings about his current struggles, claiming persons, seemingly Shorty started showing their true colors after his conviction.

Last October, Vybz Kartel claimed he called it quits with Johnson. While not giving too much information on the split, the ‘Fever’ deejay took to social media to confirm the breakup. “ME AND MI BABY MOTHER ( SHORTY) NO LONGER TOGETHER.YOU HEAR IT YASO FIRST,” he wrote.

Kartel also uploaded a photo with the two saying, “It no work out.”

He later deleted the posts. Kartel and Shorty share three boys together, Johnson made a promise back in 2014 that she would wait 35-years on the deejay who is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

Kartel has since been granted leave to appeal, a trial is set for February 19, 2018.
