Popular radio disc jockey ZJ Ice has shared how his girlfriend popped the big question to him.
Fans were left a little surprised over the weekend after the popular radio personality took to Instagram to post a photo of a ring, announcing his engagement to his long-term partner.

According to the Zip Jock, whose real name is Jason Carr, he was totally shocked by his girlfriend, who lives overseas, when she popped the big question last Wednesday.
He claims the move took him by total surprise as she just came up to him during a conversation with someone, carrying a small box and said “hold on deh mek mi show yuh something,” which turned out to be an engagement ring.

Although many fans might find it somewhat unconventional for a woman to propose to a man the popular radio personality sees no problem with the move, claiming that times have changed.
He claims it is no longer taboo for women to propose to men, in fact, he revealed that at least two of his friend’s wives have proposed to them in the past, and one of those couples have been married for over 10 years.
The disc jock did, however, admit that he was not actually considering marriage until his girlfriend’s proposal, but quickly changed his tune after analyzing their year-long relationship and the special connection they share.
