American rapper Young Thug has a lot to celebrate as RIAA confirms that his 2015 ‘Best Friend’ single sold 1,000,000 copies.
‘Best Friend’ was featured on his Slime Season mixtape, released September 16, 2015. The project was reviewed by Pitchfork Media, Exclaim! and Consequence of Sound.
“It’s official @youngthug “Best Friend” is RIAA Certified Platinum #thankyouslimesoldiers #whatsgold #yslforlife,” The Atlanta-rapper posted on Twitter.
The single was produced by Ricky Racks and Yung Shad, while the visuals which has over 14Million views on YouTube was directed by Be El Be.
