Yendi Phillipps is keeping tight-lipped on her recent decision to get baptized.
Fans were left surprised as the beauty queen joined the recent wave of popular Jamaican personalities making the transition into the Christian lifestyle as footage emerged of her being baptized.
A video clip emerged on Saturday with the Jamaican beauty in a pool surrounded by two males before being baptized to a loud applause while she tearfully thanked God for all his blessings upon her.
“I’m so grateful… up to this morning, I was on my knees and I’m just questioning … I don’t even understand what I did to deserve for God to be so good to me. I’m just so grateful and I’m just humbled by his goodness,” said Phillips.

Since her baptism, the former Miss Jamaica World and Miss Jamaica Universe winner has however refused to conduct any interviews with the media but sources say just wishes to keep her spiritual journey a private one.
