Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang signs deal with Atlantic Records

Rapper Wiz Khalifa announced on Friday that his Taylor Gang Ent. label had signed a deal with Atlantic Records, following five years of independent distribution.

The Taylor Gang imprint, which was founded in 2011 by Khalifa and co-founder Will Dzombak, made itself a reputable force despite being independent label. The label boasted talents such as Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Berner, Chevy Woods, TY Dolla Sign, Raven Felix, J.R. Donato, Tuki Carter and Sosamann and more.

Khalifa made the announcement during a press release on Friday saying “These guys are my family and friends first, now we’re gonna take this sh*t to the next level.”

The rapper seems to be wasting no time as he immediately took to Twitter to announce a new Taylor Gang collaborative project titled  TGOD Volume 1, which will be released in the near future.

The Pittsburgh rapper had previously signed a artiste deal with Atlantic in 2010 following his split from Rostrum Records. The new deal with Taylor Gang should see the young entrepreneur expand his brand even further with a major label backing his distribution.
