The Weeknd announces “Starboy” album

Following the massive success of his album Beauty Behind The Madness R&B crooner The Weeknd has announced his next project, Starboy.

The Canadian star took social media on Wednesday to announce the title and tease the artwork for his upcoming new album Starboy.

The “Low Life” singer shared the album art for the project, which was shot by renown photographer Nabil Elderkin. The cover had a distinctively retro feel, resembling a 80’s movie poster.

The Weeknd’s recently told VMAN that his vision for Starboy was inspired by movies, which would explain the retro movie poster feel the album art has.
