Waka Flocka Flame Beats Charges In Airport Gun Case

Rapper Waka Flocka Flame emerged unscathed after beating gun charges relating to his 2014 airport arrest.

The “Hard In The Paint” rapper, whose real name is Juaquin Malphurs, was found not guilty by a jury in relation to his October 2014 arrest for bringing a gun to a Atlanta airport. He was charged with carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location.

Waka Flocka was able to beat the charges after he told the court that the gun was actually inside his fiancee’s luggage, which he mistakenly took instead of his own.

It took a jury just 30 minutes to exonerate the Atlanta rapper following his 4 day trial in a Clayton County court.
