Vybz Kartel is gearing up to release new music with his protege Sikka Rymes.
The incarcerated Dancehall superstar previewed a new track featuring Sikka Rymes on Instagram last week. The track is featured on the Droptop Riddim, a new project coming out of DropTop Records.
Rhymes is currently the right-hand man to the ‘Fever’ deejay and is responsible for all the high-profile visits Vybz Kartel has received since serving his life sentence for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
In the last few months, Sikka Rymes who is the cousin of former Gaza member Shawn Storm gave Dancehall artistes Tommy Lee Sparta, Ishanwa and Sean Kingston the green light to visit the ‘Worl Boss’ at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre, more popularly known as GP.
Vybz Kartel has been quiet on social media for the past two months, but he is still dropping new music. The Gaza Boss previews a new track featuring his protege Sikka Rymes on the Gram. The track is featured on the Droptop Riddim, a new project coming out of DropTop Records.
Sikka Rymes has been steadily building his dancehall career over the past year with the dancehall icon throwing his weight behind him. Last year Vybz Kartel dubbed Sikka the next big thing in Dancehall music.
