Dancehall fans were left shocked earlier this week after checks to Google revealed an image of Vybz Kartel being used to represent female deejay HoodCelebityy.

Fans were left bemused earlier this week after Google searches for United States-based Dancehall artiste HoodCelebrityy revealed an image of incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel.

“HoodCelebrityy is about 5ft 2in tall and she’s of Jamaican descent. Her personal net worth is estimated at $100 thousand,” the Google search revealed, accompanied by a mid-2000’s photo of Vybz Kartel.

The obvious mistake was spotted by Dancehall fans on social media who were clearly not amused. “This is not funny s**k unuh m**a and dont try shake up di Gaza Kmft,” one angry fan wrote on Instagram.

However, despite the mixup, HoodCelebityy has been busy making moves following the success of her breakout single “Walking Trophy.”

The entertainer recently stopped by the studios of New York’s Power 105 to share details of new EP “Inna Real Life,” as well as finally shedding light on what caused her fallout with former best Cardi B.

According to the deejay she was cursed out by the “Bodak Yellow” rapper after she signed a deal with Cardi’s former manager Klenord “Shaft” Raphael, who she claims was instrumental in helping her launch her career.

HoodCelebrity released the “Inna Real Life” EP on August 31, which featured 5 tracks including a remix of her breakout single “Walking Trophy,” with R&B superstar Trey Songz and rapper Fabolous.
