Veronica Campbell-Brown out of 200m semi-finals

Veteran Jamaican sprinter Veronica Campbell-Brown has failed to qualify for the women’s 200m semi-finals in Rio.

Campbell Brown finished 3rd in her heat, missing out on an automatic spot in the semis. her time was also too slow to qualify as one of the two fastest losers.

The two other Jamaicans, Olympic 100 meter champion Elaine Thompson and Simone Facey are through to the semi finals, after both finishing second in their heats.
