A vendor was shot dead in Westmoreland on Monday night while selling his goods.
The deceased has so far been identified by his alias “Pringle Man”, a popular night vendor from Petersfield in the parish.
According to reports, around 11:30 pm, “Pringle Man” was riding his bicycle, which was heavily stocked with goods, in Petersfield Square, when men rode up on two motorcycles and opened fire.
He was shot multiple times and taken to the Savanna-la-Mar hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Westmoreland police are now probing the murder.
