The University of the West Indies Mona is set to award Olympic sprint champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce a honorary degree at its upcoming graduation ceremonies.
The Jamaican sprint queen will receive the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws degree at the ceremony scheduled for October 28-29.
Other honorary awardees will include renown American actor, producer and humanitarian, Daniel “Danny” Glover, and Jamaican writer and poet, Lorna Goodison.
