Usain Bolt is committed to giving back to his native community of Sherwood Content, Trelawny.
Scores of adults and children gathered at the Waldensia All-Age School on Boxing Day for the Jamaican sprint legend’s annual Christmas treat.
Usain Bolt in partnership with Digicel, Hublot, Gatorade, Virgin Media and Puma, offered several rides, food, drink, gifts and entertainment to the community.
“Always a joy giving back to my community. What the season should be all about. Children having fun. Thanks @digiceljamaica @hublot @gatorade@virginmedia @puma for the continued support #GivingBack#AnnualChristmasTreat,” Bolt wrote on Instagram.
Every year Usain Bolt uses the opportunity to encourage the youth to go after their dreams. Wednesday marked the eighth staging of the treat, which Bolt promises will continue even if it means that he has to shoulder all the expenses.
