The Prime Minister of Jamaica is currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as he supports Team Jamaica during the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Holness who frequently uses popular online social networking service Twitter was surprised by former PM Portia Simpson-Miller’s decision to speak about politics on Saturday night as Jamaicans were celebrating their first medals in Rio with Eline Thompson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce winning Gold and Bronze respectively.

“As a party, we recommit to working in the best interest of the Jamaican people at all times,” Miller wrote on Twitter, “I am calling on the Prime Minister to honour his commitment to increase the minimum wage,” She added.

Holness quickly responded saying she should put politics aside as it wasn’t the time or place, “@PSimpsonMiller tonight belongs to our athletes. Let’s set politics aside for just a few hours.,” His response as since racked up over 262 retweets and 199 likes, with many users commented and trolling Miller with the use of gifs.
