A naked man was shot and killed by an armed security guard at a hotel in St Ann after he was allegedly seen trespassing on the property on Friday morning.
According to reports, the unidentified man was shot and killed by a King Alarm employee at approximately 3:30 am after he entered the Grand Bahia Principe Hotel premises in Runaway Bay, St Ann.
The naked man reportedly attacked the security guard with stones after being confronted on the premises and continued to approach in a threatening manner despite the King Alarm employee firing several warning shots.
The man was shot several times in his upper body and was taken to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are now investigating the incident.
