Trelawny Chef Gunned Down By Fake Cops

On Monday a 24-year-old man was gunned down at his home in Bounty Hall, Trelawny, by men reportedly posing as police officers.

The deceased, who has been identified as Jonathan Crossdale, a chef from a local hotel within the parish was reportedly shot and killed shortly after 4:00 am on Monday morning by gunmen posing as cops.

According to reports, Crossdale was at home with his common-law wife, Aretha Shreves, and three stepchildren when he was awakened by knocking from men claiming to be the police.

Crossdale reportedly responded to the calls of the four men and was shot several times upon opening the door.

The man’s stepchildren were reportedly asleep in a separate room at the time of the incident and saw nothing.

The police have established yet to establish a motive for the crime.
