Tony Rebel says he would be willing to run political office if Jamaicans wanted him to.

The Veteran Recording artist recently revealed that he would be interested in politics if Jamaicans saw him fit for office, and even disclosed some of the sweeping changes he would make if elected Prime Minister.

According to the “If Jah” singjay, he would place special emphasis on education, as it is the only way to truly uplift the country for generations ahead.

The Rastafarian singjay also claims he would also seek to demolish the current constitution, arguing that it largely reflects the values and interest of our former oppressors prior to independence.

Rebel however outlined that he would not be interested in running for either the PNP or JLP parties unless both decide to seriously decide to drastically shake up their internal structures.

The artiste, whose real name is Patrick Barrett is, of course, no stranger to politics as his cousin of Seymour Mullings was a former finance minister and deputy PM in the PNP. He died in 2013.
