Toni Braxton has been hospitalized due to complications from her ongoing battle with lupus.
TMZ reported that the R&B singer has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for treatment after referring with her personal doctor in Atlanta, her boyfriend Birdman rushed to her side to comfort the “Breathe Again” singer.
Toni Braxton has been open about her battle with the aggressive disease and even included her struggle with the sickness in her Lifetime biopic “Unbreak My Heart” starring Lex Scott Davis who did an amazing job playing the R&B legend.
“Some days I can’t balance it all,” she said. “I just have to lay in bed. Pretty much when you have lupus you feel like you have the flu every day. But some days you get through it. But for me, if I’m not feeling well, I tend to tell my kids, ‘Oh mommy’s just going to relax in bed today. I kind of take it easy.’”
Toni is also preparing for her upcoming “Hits Tour.”
