The track proves to be a powerful one, paying tribute to his ‘Spartan soldiers’ who have perished. In its verses, he somberly spits about friends lost on the battlefield, as well as measures to protect his own life.
The song is delivered in a tone only Tommy Lee could, as he has carved out his own niche of gothic Dancehall.
Life Of A Spartan is only the latest banger from Tommy Lee, who has been on a good run with several hits in 2020.
