Tifa Teams With Grammy Award Winning Producer Deezle Beats

Tifa has kicked off the new year with a bang, the Dancehall Diva is featured on 3-time Grammy winning producer Darius ‘Deezle Beats Harrison’s new album “That’s For Sure” which was released on January 27.

Tifa is featured on the track “I Wanna Get Next to You.” Harrison is a well-known and in-demand producer who has worked with the likes of rappers Lil Wayne, Birdman, TI, DMX, Trina, Master P and Destiny’s Child, Mary J Blige, Mario and Sean Kingston among others.

His production credits include Single Again by Trina; Lollipop by Lil Wayne; and Soldier by Destiny’s Child, TI and Lil Wayne. Tifa has been on a musical tear in recent months. The remix of her single “Big Bumper” feature soca star Fay Ann Lyons.

‘Great response thus far to the remix.  We did a premiere at Bacchanal Jamaica’s launch and it’s been playing a lot at soca parties here as well as in Trinidad, Canada and as far as Australia and Japan”, said Tifa.

“Just a Little Bit Longer,” a new single recorded for Grammy winning producer Troyton Rami’s Black Shadow Records is featured on the “Happy Days” riddim. The riddim which also features soca star Rupee, was recently licensed by Ultra Records.

A video for the song which is in rotation on mainstream US radio stations including 99 Jamz in Miami and Power 105.1 in New York, is currently in the works. “It is being said that the song is a bit risqué for Jamaican radio so we are working on having another edit. We are also gearing up to shoot the video”, she added.

With an influx of new material coming from producers ZJ Chrome, Kurt Riley and a collaboration with Bugle, Tifa is certainly on a musical high.

Tifa’s recent Valentine Crush tour in Canada, has been hailed a success.  The tour which lasted for eleven days, saw her performing in cities including Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa. “The tour was a success. I’m so happy and proud. Promoters have even started making requests and bookings already based on the tour”, said Tifa.
