Three persons are now dead and several injured following a motor vehicle accident involving a minibus along the Spanish Town leg on Highway 2000 on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as 54-yearold bus driver Everton Melhado, 60 year old Hortense Barnett, and a unidentified female.
According to reports, the public passenger vehicle was bus traveling from May Pen to Spanish Town, when it a reportedly blew a tire and the driver lost control.
The injured were reportedly taken to the May Pen Hospital and the and the Spanish Town Hospital.
Police say the minibus was overloaded with passengers at the time of the accident.
