Tessanne Chin Starts Fitness Journey

Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin has embarked on a new fitness journey.

The Season 5 The Voice winner revealed that she has started working out with popular health and fitness coach Patrice J White, the CEO of Dynamic Lifestyle Studio.

In a lengthy post Tessanne Chin this is just the start of her fitness journey after taking the plunge after contemplating it for sometime now.

“It’s a start, I took the plunge and finally decided to call Miss Pat @patricejwhite
This is something I’ve been meaning to do for a while but it “just wasn’t the right time” ( it never is btw),” she wrote.

“To be honest I have thoroughly (and I mean thoroughly!!!) enjoyed not having to think about weight, food or exercise for a good while. It is something that unfortunately used to dominate my thoughts a little too much and I was glad to be free of it.”

Chin continued by saying, “I knew that during pregnancy and after having my daughter that I was gonna be easy on myself and not sweat it, particularly because just a month shy of welcoming her into the world COVID-19 was upon us and with that came lock down, curfew, anxiety, panic, whole eep of tears and many days of not giving two you know what’s about healthy eating and exercise.”

“We were looking after a new born and getting to know ourselves and each other as new parents and also getting to know her so it took a back seat and I’m at peace with that.
But that was then, Zaia is 9 months y’all, 3 months away from being a year ( cyah blame she no more 👀lol ) and Covid-19 Don’t look as if it’s going anywhere. So I decided that I have to, in some way get back to paying a little attention to me and one of the best ways I know how is to take a little time to use my body, to move it, push it and feel myself buss a sweat once again knowing I did something that pushed my limits.”

“It does wonders for me not just physically but mentally it unlocks something too and it feels great, sore but great 👀( I actually think my soul left my body a couple times)
So this is a journey I’m about to take and its not about quick fixes or fads or the “bounce back” cause to be fair everyone’s starting place is different as are everyone’s goals. (anyways, so what if I just bounce lol ).”

“Seriously though I just wanna feel good so I can be good for me and my family and me sharing this is just another way for me to be accountable moving forward.
Here’s to starting on a Tuesday 😊 because if I wait on Monday it might pass me again !!! 🤣 ❤️🙏❤️LosingIt #FindingIt #BeingTheBestMeICanBe #MumStrong #PleaseGodMekMeAbleWalkTomorrow 🙏,” she added.
