Ten persons struck by lightning at Mystic Mountain

Ten persons were admitted to the St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital over the weekend after they were stuck by lightning at Mystic Mountain in St Ann on Friday afternoon.

According managing Director of the attraction, Mike Drakulich, the freak accident occurred at around 4:30pm at the popular tourist attraction and lightening stuck persons on the zip line tour.

No one died during the incident and all but one person have since been discharged from the hospital.

Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Edmond Bartlett who visited the hospital, says the tourists were pleased with the treatment they got and say they are willing to return to Jamaica.
