Uptop Boss Teejay went live on Instagram on Saturday to speak with Dancehall fans.

A rare sighting of the Montego Bay-based deejay pulled huge numbers on the platform as he discussed his close friends being killed earlier this year, journey in the Dancehall industry, manager Romeich Major criticising his music at first.

“Me is not a hype youth.. mi humble yo f**k… whole heap a diss mi get,” Teejay said while speaking on his career.

The deejay told viewers that he is not moved by what critics could say about him because he is focused. He continued by sharing that before stardom, he once travelled to Kingston from Montego Bay and jumped the fence of Jordan McClure’s Chimney Records studio.
