Uptop Boss Teejay is letting us know its not easy being a Dancehall recording artiste.
While many see the glitz and glamour of being a Dancehall/Reggae entertainer, only a few know the struggles and sacrifices behind the scenes.
Teejay gave fans an insight during the Christmas celebrations as he laid up alone in an airport following a show in Guyana. “When them a have Christmas dinner, man out yah a be the real rough winner, my sacrifice,” he wrote.
Entertainers like Teejay have a rough schedule which keeps them from home many times. This results in them missing a lot of family moments including birthdays and holiday celebrations.
So the next time you think about leaving a negative comment under an artiste’s post because they showed off a house or car, remember how hard they worked.
