In his latest single, released on July 31 titled, ‘Suh Di Badness Guh’ Dancehall artiste Teejay expresses a more gangster side of himself.
TeeJay opens the Dethwrld and TMI Records-produced gritty single diving in a war scene. As if killing was his hobby, the artiste proclaims, “duppy haffi pickup pan radar, rifle deh yah more dan eight car, mi nuh shot an miss, bwoy mi nuh Ray Charles, pull pin di grenade fall…”
The Uptop Boss, real name Timoy Jones, begins to show how cold his heart is, “from people fi dead yuh know wi ears hard, gun deh yah now and di clip inna di K tall” he tells listeners that when it is time to kill, he basically goes deaf, when the foe pleads.
Teejay continues to paint an imagery of a murder scene with lyrics like, “Shot from di intro…Pull up a yuh window an pop it, a yuh marrow jump out pan yuh steering, eye gone lef yuh, nutten nah echo, everyting connect, everyting ketch yuh…”
In ‘Suh Di Badness Guh’, the Romeich Entertainment singer explains that not everyone is built for such a lifestyle. He highlights, that being a murderer is is not the same as being an average criminal as notes the killer’s focus with his lyrical delivery.
