Tanya Stephens had a few things to get off her chest as she uploaded a lengthy video via her Instagram account.
During the nine minutes and thirty-eight seconds clip, the veteran Dancehall artiste called out persons who have been offering to do her hair and make-up and revealed that she has no interest in those things as she prefers to be all-natural.
The 47-year-old singer started the video by addressing her flaws which include hyperpigmentation around the cheeks and dark circles around her eyes. She added that her skin is no longer the same tone it once was, mainly because she didn’t care to follow any skin regimen.
Speaking to social media users who offer her wigs and to do her make-up, Tanya Stephens said they should go help women who are desperately in need of these things, including women who are going through chemotherapy for cancer and are struggling to cope with the loss of their hair.
The It’s A Pity singer added that her daughter is a talented, Hollywood trained, make-up artist who does her make-up if she requests. “If you want to help- go to the cancer society- donate the wigs and help those who have undergone chemo and lost their hair. Many are suffering from PTSD from losing their hair because of the expectations of society placing value on hair,” she said.
