Stephens took to social media to voice her opinion on the situation saying that the dancehall culture is biased because they bashed Spice for performing her raunchy music but yet they presented Shabba Ranks an award at the recent National Honours and Awards ceremony for contributing to the development of the dancehall genre with his classic hits.
Ricky Trooper also came to Spice’s defense saying that the promoters are to be blamed for the public shame she is now facing and should issue an apology to the “Needle eye” deejay.
