Tanya Stephens Defends Ishawna After Disrespecting Miss Lou

As Controversial Dancehall artist Ishawna continues to get backlash from Jamaicans following her disrespectful Instagram post aimed at legendary Jamaican poet Louise Simone ‘Miss Lou’ Bennett-Coverley, Tanya Stephens has stepped in to show her support.

On Friday the Outspoken Veteran Recording artist shared her views on the topic blasting fans as she defended the ‘Equal Rights’ singer and her comments.

“Jamaicans really need to stop mandating their self imposed limitations,” Stephens captioned a post – View Below.

Last week the former Downsound Records artist sent social media users into a frenzy when she took jabs at Miss Lou and Jamaica’s culture as she justified her raunchy outfits.

“Mi nuh dress inna tablecloth like Miss Lou #RipMissLou,” she wrote.

Earlier this month Tanya Stephens also received backlash when she disrespected former Prime Minister and PNP leader Portia Simpson-Miller.
