T.I. being sued by his Scales 925 restaurant employees

Rapper T.I. and a business partner are reportedly being sued by employees at their Scales 923 restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, according to Fortune.

A lawsuit was filed by 12 employees, who claim that rapper and business partner Charles Hughes violated the Fair Labour Standards Act.

The employees claim they were subjected to unethical payment practices, as the rapper regularly deposited money from payroll into his personal account, causing their paychecks to bounce on multiple occasions.

The workers also reportedly claim that the “My Life” rapper and his partner did not pay them for overtime, and forced them to work extended hours.

The 12 employees are reportedly suing for backpay.
