Swizz Beatz being sued for $42 million in alleged car scam

Swizz Beatz has been named in a $42 million civil racketeering lawsuit which claims that the producer’s name was used to fraudulently lease high end vehicles to third party clients, according to New York Post.

According to court documents filed by Metro Gem Leasing and Funding Corp. on Wednesday, Long Island car dealership owner Macky Dancy used Swizz Beatz’ name to lease a number of high end luxury vehicles, only for Swizz to re-lease them at a hugely inflated value.

According to claims, Beatz leased as many as 10 cars between 2013 and 2016 and knowingly conspired with Dancy to re-lease the vehicles to third parties at a significant markup price. It is further alleged that Beatz also illegally sold a leased Ferrari to a third party client.

Reps from the famed Hip Hop producer’s camp have reportedly declared his innocence, stating that Beatz was just a innocent pawn in the dispute.
