Investigators have reportedly detained a suspect in connection with the hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of Clive Downer, the father of female dancehall artiste Michelle “D’Angel” Downer.
70-year-old Clive Downer was tragically mowed down in a hit-and-run accident along the Old Harbour, main road in St Catherine.

Police have not released the identity of the man held in custody, and will continue to hold him for further questioning.
A funeral service for Downer will be held today (Wednesday), August 31, at the historic Cathedral of St Jago de la Vega.
