Suge Knight has at least one less legal problem to worry about after he settled a $30,000 California tax debt.
The former Death Row Records CEO was hit with a tax lien by the state of California for $30,000 in unpaid taxes from 2011 and 2012. However the famed west coast Hip Hop icon settled his outstanding debts in August, avoiding at least one legal issue.
Knight’s tax issues however remain the least of his legal problems as he is currently battling for his freedom in a relation to a hit-and-run murder charge. Knight was charged with premeditated murder after a January 2015 hit-and-run accident that killed Terry Carter on the set of Straight Outta Compton.

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were initially named along with Knight in a corresponding civil lawsuit into Carter’s death, however the two Hip Hop giants we recently cleared of any wrongdoing leaving Knight as the sole defendant.
