Controversial Hip Hop figure, Marion “Suge” Knight, has reportedly launched a lawsuit against Dr. Dre claiming that he hired a hitman to kill him, over supposed shares in his Beats By Dre deal with Apple.

According to reports, Suge knight is claiming that Dr. Dre attempted to have him killed over a alleged lifetime management deal, which entitles him to 30 percent of Dre’s entertainment earnings. The deal he claims entitles him to a large chunk of Dre’s 2014 $3.2 billion deal with Apple.

Knight has claimed that Dre was responsible for a 2014 Hollywood nightclub gun attack which left him nursing seven gunshot wounds to his abdomen. The former Death Row Records CEO has filed legal documents claiming Dre paid a man named Cle “Bone” Sloan $300,000 to get rid of him.

Lawyers representing Dr. Dre have reportedly denied the claims, and have threatened to take legal action against Knight for malicious prosecution, according to TMZ reports.

Suge Knight is currently behind bars and battling for his freedom in the hit-and-run case, which resulted in the death of Terry Carter.
