Dancehall singjay Starface debut her new banging body on social media earlier this week.
The plastic surgery trend is booming in Jamaica with a slew of Dancehall entertainers and personalities going under the knife and Starface is the latest to join the movement.
After deleting all her social media posts over the last few weeks, Starface returned with her new look and sent tongues wagging. While many artistes do plastic surgery to boost their career, the “Ready” singer said it was not an industry move but more personal.
According to the Konsequence Muzik Records artiste she felt extreme uncomfortable with unwanted body fat over the years so after careful consideration she flew out to Dominican Republic and linked up with Santo Domingo’s Summer Bodie Consultancy for liposuction and mastopexy (breast lift) surgery.
Starface says she now loving her results with no regrets and enjoying the confident boost. “I’m not doing it for the industry or music or whatever, this is something I wanted to do a long time ago. I did it for me. I feel more comfortable now and it don’t matter to me about getting more gigs, what matters to me is how I look in my clothes,” she said.
The singer is currently promoting a slew of tracks including “Badman Lovin'”, “Not My Profile,” “Ah Wah Do She” and many more. She is also working on more releases for summer.
