Stacious is giving back to her country in her own unique as she recently volunteered her time and services at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH).

The “Cute Bubble” deejay, who is a certified personal trainer says she will be working in the hospital’s physiotherapy department.

According to Stacious, she decided to give back to the hospital after paying multiple visits to see family members over the years. She says she thought the move would be a good way to contribute to society.

“I remember my uncle and auntie getting treatment at KPH, and so I kept going for appointments. I built a relationship with some of the staff there and I saw where there was a need for extra hands and decided I would volunteer,” she said.

The female singer, who also doubles as a radio host on SunCity 104 Fm, says she feels Jamaican’s can do a lot more to help those in need, pointing out that giving back doesn’t always have to involve monetary donation.

The entertainer recently completed her first day on the job, calling the experience a fulfilling one. She claims it was a great feeling seeing the joy on patient’s faces knowing she is helping to take care of them.

Dr. Natalie Whylie, a senior medical officer at KPH, took the opportunity to applaud the entertainer while saying she hopes the gesture can serve as a spark to inspire other public figures to volunteer.
