St. Mary Expected To Run Dancehall For Christmas 2019

The Tropixs (Saint Mary, Jamaica) – Renowned publicist Karl Durrant has made a bold proclamation which has once again sent tongues wagging.

According to Durrant St. Mary will dominate the dancehall space similarly to the current domination of the space by Montego Based entertainers.

“I was one of the main persons behind the rise of the Montego Bay music scene and now it is time to for St.Mary to dominate the space. Just like I did years ago when I was promoting artistes like Teejay Uptop Boss, Rhyme Minister and producers like Zum (Good Good Productions) and of late Jahvillani among others. I told many industry players that Montego Bay will bring a new sound to dancehall that will create a massive impact now I am telling the world that St.Mary is the next hub of dancehall, mark my words” Karl Durrant stated.

Durrant’s theory is supported by trending St.Mary based artiste Jrile who says the parish boasts a cluster of new talent that will once again change the sound of dancehall.

“We talk different, we flow different and overall it’s a fresh approach to making music and generally music lovers crave variety which is why our sound is already creating a buzz which will only get bigger with time. Whol heap a bad artistes deh pon Di Northside and right now we pushing as one big family. We parish blessed with artistes like Capleton, Munga Honourable, Devin Di Dakta, Yaksta, Glamma Don and myself so a mad ting for the Christmas and beyond” Jrile stated.

Currently at least four St.Mary based artistes may be smiling to the bank as Munga Honourable has made a successful return the mainstream, Devin Di Dakta is trending on YouTube with When I’m Gone, Jrile is trending with No Smoke ft Jamin and Yaksta is buzzing with a track aptly titled, St.Mary.
