Spragga Benz confirms ‘Shottas’ remake

Veteran recording artiste/actor Spragga Benz has confirmed that there’s a ‘Shottas’ remake after over 12-years since the Jamaican classic film was released.

The 47-year-old deejay, real name Carlton Errington Grant uploaded the script for ‘Top Shottas’ by the show’s original director Cess Silvera.

Spragga captioned the post saying, “Yup … Script time again…” The script however shows that the movie will now become a series.

Earlier this year Ky-Mani Marley said Shottas would become a cable TV series during an interview.

According to industry insiders, the series could hit the small screen later this year.

‘Shottas’ which stars Ky-mani, Spragga Benz, Louie Rankin, Paul Campbell among others is a 2002 Jamaican crime film about two young men who participate in organized crime in Kingston, Jamaica and Miami, Florida.
