Spice, Stylo G, Moyann Sends Love To Beenie Man After Fainting At Mother’s Funeral

Dancehall artistes Spice, Stylo G and Moyann are sending some love and support to Beenie Man following the devastating news that he fainted at his mother’s funeral.

The veteran Dancehall artiste is now making rounds on social media after a video surfaced on Sunday showing the ‘King of Dancehall’ artiste fainting while at his mother’s graveside in St Elizabeth.

“Saw the video and felt it deep in my soul, prayers up,” Spice wrote in the comment section of a posted uploaded on The Tropixs. Uk-based Dancehall artiste Stylo G and female entertainer Moyann also offered prayers for Beenie.

In the video Beenie Man, real name Anthony Moses Davis appeared to be overcome by emotion as he saw the casket being lowered into the cold muddy ground at the all-white farewell event and subsequently fainted.

The Doc was then ushered away by four men, and reportedly went for medical attention.

Beenie Man’s mom, Lilieth Sewell suffered a stroke in July 2020, and was hospitalised for some time. After she was discharged from the University Hospital of the West Indies, she died a few weeks later in September.
