Spice Says She’s Ready For War

Spice is set for a legal showdown with her label VP records after years of delays of her debut album.

The female Dancehall superstar says she is currently preparing to take legal action against her record label in order to escape an almost 10-year-old contract which she signed in 2009.

According to the “Gum” deejay, she is fed up with the record label as they have continuously held back her debut album for years despite them receiving music for several projects. Over the years fans have been left disappointed as the female deejay has announced several release dates only for the record label to postpone and later shelve the projects altogether.

The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star recently took to Instagram blasting the label claiming that signing to them was the worst decision of her life.

The deejay went on to advise all young-upcoming artistes to avoid making the same mistake she did, saying it’s best they hold off from signing away their publishing and remain independent during their early years.

Spice Shares Why She Disrespected Police At Reggae Sumfest

The “Queen of the Dancehall” revealed that the label has done little to nothing to help throughout her career, claiming that she had to fund all her musical promotion herself throughout the years.

” I’m ready to break my silence so tag @vprecords@vprecordsfloridaretail TELL THEM I WANT MY ALBUM OUT NOW or it’s WAR,” Spice wrote. “I’m tired of fans asking me about my album I’ve been signed to them for 10 years and they never ever released one album for me. I do absolutely EVERY THING BY MYSELF. I finance my own career and push my own music while Dem siddung inna A/C Inna dem office every day a drink red wine. This was the biggest mistake I’ve made in my entire life. God see and know say karma ago make unu pay for trying to ruin my entire career that I work so hard on ?? all you @diamond4eva1 weh tell mi fi 10 years say every October mi album a release you better go bloodclaat trim cause you is a little a fake rass. Fed up and tired and I care zero who vex #SingleMother #Havetofeedmykids#WickedNeverprevail NEXT POST I’m giving out their numbers so every one can ask them and stop asking me ?”

The eye-opening claims are not the first time a Dancehall artiste has criticized the distribution company as Ding Dong also expressed claims his career was somewhat pegged back by a contract he with them several years ago.

VP has yet to respond to any of the claims made by Spice.
