Spice Lauded As The “Queen Of Dancehall” By Vogue Magazine

Spice has been declared as the new “Queen of Dancehall” by Vogue Magazine.

The “Needle Eye” deejay has received major backing from the popular international magazine, which declared her the new face of Dancehall music, following her eye catching performance at Reggae Sumfest 2017.

The magazine described the female Jamaican superstar as a fearless, “fashion forward” performer, with who continues to redefine Dancehall culture with her elaborate sense of style.

Vogue also lauded the Jamaican for her lyrical prowess, and willingness to tackle controversial issues including gender inequality and bias in Dancehall music, highlighting her 2014 single “Like A Man”.

The glowing endorsement comes days after Spice’s strong showing at the recently concluded Reggae Sumfest, with fans calling it one of the best performances of the night.
