Spice In “Romantic Mood” Amidst “Captured” Success

Spice brought Dancehall fans back to the 1980’s with her latest music video.

The newly crowned “Queen of Dancehall” pays homage to the women who started Dancehall and paved the way for this era, such as; Althea and Donna, Sister Nancy, Sister Charmaine, Patra, Dawn Penn, Sasha, Marcia Griffiths and Lady Ann with “Romantic Mood.”

Romantic Mood is featured on the ‘Original Gigi Riddim’ produced by Steelie and Cleevie. The official visuals were shot on location in Kingston, Jamaica by Xtreme Arts, who shared directing credits with Spice.

The retro banger is taken off Spice’s new “Captured” mixtape. The project made its debut at the number one spot on the Billboard Reggae Album chart last week.

Captured features 19 songs including the lead single “Black Hypocrisy,” which sent Dancehall fans into a frenzy last month when Spice shared a light-skinned photo on Instagram to promote the track.
